Eric Michael Cap has co-written & produced 9 killer Pop-Soul-Funk tracks for former James Brown backing vocalist Laurice Monica with U.K. based BMI songwriter Dave Coe. In addition to touring with the GodFather of Soul, Laurice also appeared as his wife in Blues Brothers 2000. A 12" vinyl single "It's A Funky Thang" (Trk01) has also been released in the U.K./Europe & is receiving extensive Radio & Club play, while "Watching the City Come Alight" (Trk02) is a favourite album cut. Both discs can be purchased directly from the Honey Groove U.K. website, CDBaby, and now on iTunes. Two other demo songs were also produced & recorded by Tai Lewis but are not included on this initial CD*.

Holiday FM Radio - Ibiza (Spain) is playing It’s A Funky Thang. Dj’s Mickey Jay called it "perfect for my radio show’". Dave Johns and Graham Sahara have all had good feedback. It's also been played by DJ Igor at Cadena 100 Radio Ibiza.
Joan Ribas DJ at Pachas Club and Café del Mar Ibiza has called It’s A Funky Thang "A breath of fresh air for my sessions".
Danny Marquez at Privilege in Ibiza says it's ‘Great music, perfect for my warm up set’ .
Kiko Navarro @ Pachas in Mallorca called it a "really good funky track"’.
